spokesperson for the Community
Development Commission of the County of
Los Angeles. This was echoed by many of
the attendees to the 30th Annual
Legislative Day and Real Estate Fair.
Highlights
of the event included a farewell to
Yvonne Burke, who is retiring as County
Supervisor of the Second District. In
addition, HUD spokesperson Nancy West
presented an update on recent FHA
changes.
Probably
the greatest indication of a good event
was the fact that many attendees remained
after the program was over. There were
clusters of people discussing the latest
trends in the industry.
Legislative Day is one of three major
events hosted by LACBOR, designed to
bring information and education to
Realtors throughout Los Angeles County.
